Emergent Berlin 2025 Party

Each year this party ranks as one of the magical highlights of the weekend and we hope this one will be even a bit more special.  This time, we gather to reclaim the narrative about how the better world could be.  The performances on this evening shall emerge from the subtle and sensitive resonant moments yet to be imagined.  



The evening begins with a live set of the 47th edition of the Immaculate Contraption project, a live improvisational groove meditation between tuned in musicians, Dj’s and Mc’s that started out in Brooklyn Loft scene in the mid 1990’s.  Each time features a new set of cutting edge local artists who accept the challenge to come together and create something special together.  All music and lyrics will come from the cutting edge of the moment.

Werd is a Grammy-nominated DJ, musical director, and performer that has been a fixture in the Berlin music scene for over 20 years. As the only DJ worldwide who is a band member for the TV show The Voice, he lives and breathes Hip Hop. Fusing turntablism, precession and controllerism, Werd has been an integral part of live shows for some of Germany´s best known artist.

Since 2000, he’s been DJing, delving into a diverse array of musical genres. His exploration has taken him from the captivating and elusive rhythms of Cumbia, funk, soul, disco, and boogie to the throbbing electronic beats, often delving into the depths of bass-heavy sounds. Throughout his journey, he’s incorporated elements of turntablism, resulting in a versatile and dynamic range of musical experiences.

Throughout the years, he’s refined his skills and cultivated a distinct fusion of sounds, continually pushing the boundaries of musical innovation. Whether it’s the infectious Latin rhythms or the intricacies of electronic music, his sets promise a sonic odyssey. He thrives on the thrill of the unknown, crafting unforgettable moments for his audience.

Sami – Deep phat electro breaks and grooves with a crispy eastern edge

Sami is a music producer & DJ from the evacuated village of Kufr Bir‘im, Palestine, raised in the nearby village of Jish. Known for his genre-fluid sets with heavy bass, he blends grime, 140 dubstep, leftfield bass, and experimental hip hop. Initially starting in trap/hiphop, Sami’s sound has grown into a mix that reflects his wide range of musical influences. Outside of performing, Sami is creating space for local and international talent through @dasamrec, curating events that showcase emerging artists and innovative sounds.

Master of Ceremonies and 1000 voices. Scottie is one of the founding members of the Immaculate Contraption series that started out on the Brooklyn waterfront loft scene of 1990’s and eventually found a new home in Berlin.

„Nash“ gibt es nicht mehr! Um sich für ihr Comeback als Solokünstlerin neu zu ordnen ist die -Female Rap Artistin- für einige Zeit in sich gekehrt. Ein Grund weshalb man eine ganze Weile nicht viel von ihr gehört hat, denn in der Stille liegt die Offenbarung und „Neshii“ ist das Ergebnis dieser Selbstfindung. Wer Neshii kennt, weiß genau, wenn sie das Mic in die Hand nimmt fließt pure Energie. Dann verschmilzt sie mit dem Beat und lädt in diesem Einklang auf eine Berg- und Talfahrt der Gefühle ein.

Ihre Texte tragen Grundphilosophische Erkenntnismomente in sich, mit denen sich vor allem Suchende identifizieren können. Ihr Talent setzt sie gekonnt als Wekzeug ein um sinnbildliche Welten zu zerschlagen und neue zu errichten, dabei bedient sie sich den ihr in sich tragenden Konflikten und schöpft aus diesen Quellen Kraft- und Gehaltvolle Leitsätze. In ihrer Stimme schwingt immer dieser Hauch von Wahnsinn mit, der einem akustischen Nervenkitzel gleichkommt. Wenn Neshii rapt hört man zu, man versinkt in ihrer Welt und wiegt sich in diesem unvergleichlichen Sound.
